Through daily science and art activities, campers will explore adaptations and behaviors of nocturnal animals, how light affects plants, and how some animals survive in the dark.

Natural History Museum – Adventures in Nature: Secrets of the Museum
From the Website: How did NHM’s collection of 35 million specimens and artifacts, including dinosaur fossils, insects, crystals (and more!) make their way to the museum, and what happens once they are here? In this two day camp, we’ll reveal the secrets of museum work. On Day 1, we’ll go behind the scenes to understand the work that happens in museum labs. On Day 2, we’ll get hands-on to explore how NHM scientists go out into the field to make amazing discoveries!
